In her work with Mai-Wel Creative Arts, Jaymie has provided avenues for people to explore, create and progress their creative skills, extending arts practices and access for artists with disabilities.

In 2023-24 she provided one-on-one and group mentoring for 13 supported artists as they explored inspiration from their every day personal life and used it as a foundation for self-expressive arts practices in a range of mediums.

The project culminated in Muse: Source of Inspiration, which showed at the Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie (MAC yapang)

In this exhibition, a muse could be a relationship with a beloved dog, the joy of colour, lived experience with mental health or a memorable holiday.
